Malton Equine Laundry was founded in 2007 by local businessman Richard Mills. The current owner, Soulla Clarkson took over in June 2010. Since its inception, Malton Equine Laundry has gone from strength to strength and is now the leading horse rug cleaning service in North Yorkshire. As well as being a horse owner herself, Soulla has 20 years equestrian experience and a 1st Class Honours degree in Equine Studies.

The business is based in the heart of Ryedale at Showfield Lane, Malton.

We offer a washing, reproofing and repair service for horse rugs, and other horse clothing, such as numnahs. All rugs washed are also treated with an antibacterial rinse.

Rugs are returned individually wrapped and labeled, perfect for storing away. We aim to have your rugs ready just 1 week after we receive them, much faster than most of our competitors.

We are happy to deal with private individuals or work with yard owners or managers to organise a service for the whole yard.
